# Connect with Sequel Pro

To connect to SingleStore from Sequel Pro:

1. Open Sequel Pro and configure a new connection using **Quick Connect**.

2. On the **Quick Connect** window, enter the following details:

   * **Name**: A name for your connection, for example **SingleStoreDB**.
   * **Host **: The IP address or hostname of your SingleStore cluster.
   * **Username**: The SingleStore database username. Enter `root`.
   * **Password**: The password for the SingleStore database user.
   * **Database**: The name of the SingleStore database.
   * **Port**: Default is `3306`.

3. Select **Test Connection** to test the connection. Select **Connect** to connect to your SingleStore database.
