# SingleStore Dev Image

The SingleStore Dev Image enables rapid application development, testing, and/or incorporation of SingleStore features before moving an application to production.

To deploy SingleStore in an AWS, Azure, or GCP production environment, log into the [Cloud Portal](https://portal.singlestore.com).

To deploy SingleStore on-premises, refer to the associated [deployment guides](https://docs.singlestore.com/db/v9.1/deploy.md).

> **📝 Note**: Running SingleStore via the SingleStore Dev Image is for prototyping and functional testing purposes only.
