# Prerequisites

The following prerequisites need to be satisfied before making the connection:

1. Download and install StreamSets by following the instructions [here](https://streamsets.com/documentation/datacollector/latest/help/datacollector/UserGuide/Installation/FullInstall_ServiceStart.html).

2. Make sure the SingleStore Cluster is running on the server.

3. Open a web browser and connect to StreamSets: **http\://<*IP Address of the server running the StreamSets service*>:18630/**

4. To install and configure the SingleStore Fast loader, go [here](https://streamsets.com/documentation/datacollector/3.7.2/help/datacollector/UserGuide/Destinations/MemSQLLoader.html).
