# Export Data

This topic describes how to export data from SingleStore databases.

## Export a Single Database

Use [sdb-admin dump](https://docs.singlestore.com/db/v9.1/reference/singlestore-tools-reference/sdb-admin-commands/dump.md) to create a logical backup of the DDL statements in a SingleStore database. To create a physical backup of the database, see [Back Up and Restore Data](https://docs.singlestore.com/db/v9.1/manage-data/back-up-and-restore-data.md)

## Export All Databases

Use [sdb-admin dump](https://docs.singlestore.com/db/v9.1/reference/singlestore-tools-reference/sdb-admin-commands/dump.md)  to export a logical backup of every database in an instance of SingleStore.
