# GROUPS

This view contains information about user groups in the database.

| Column Name  | Description                       |
| ------------ | --------------------------------- |
| `GROUP_NAME` | The name of the group.            |
| `NUM_USERS`  | The count of users in that group. |

**Note**: Granting the `SHOW METADATA` permission at the cluster scope provides broad visibility into metadata for all groups, without granting read or write access to those objects.
