Removing Orphaned Partitions that are not Needed

If you have orphaned partitions that you no longer need, you can remove all of them at once. To do so, first check which partitions will be removed:

SQL

EXPLAIN CLEAR ORPHAN DATABASES;

To remove all orphaned partitions, run

SQL

CLEAR ORPHAN DATABASES;

Make sure to have run SHOW PARTITIONS and SHOW CLUSTER STATUS and have verified that all partitions are accounted for before doing this.

Note: CLEAR ORPHAN DATABASES can’t be undone.

(Optional) Run the following command to view the associated signature files.

Download the signature file from the SingleStore release server.
- Option 1: Click the Download Signature button next to the SingleStore file.
- Option 2: Copy and paste the following URL into the address bar of your browser and save the signature file.
- Option 3: Run the following command to download the signature file.

```

After the signature file has been downloaded, run the following command to verify the authenticity of the SingleStore file.
