Self-Hosted Configuration for Unlimited Storage

When running in a self-hosted configuration, the unlimited storage databases feature requires one of the following to operate:

  • Amazon S3

  • Azure Blob storage

  • Google Cloud Storage

Use CREATE DATABASE to create an unlimited storage database.

Note

SingleStore Self-Managed customers running SingleStore on private cloud or bare metal: You can use an S3-compatible object store to back up your databases. You can back up your database to S3-compatible storage. However, you cannot use it for Unlimited Storage because that is only supported for the three cloud providers. You should still run the sdb-report calibrate-blob-storage command to validate that your object store is S3 compatible.
