Connect Power BI Service to SingleStore via Power BI Gateway

To connect Power BI service to SingleStore Helios via Power BI gateway:

Install The SingleStore ODBC Driver.

Download and install the Power BI on-premises data gateway.
For more information, see What is an on-premises data gateway. -
In the gateway installer, sign in to Microsoft Office 365 with your organization email address to register your gateway.

Select Register a new gateway on this computer > Next.

In the On-premises data gateway dialog, enter a name for the gateway (for example, SingleStore).
Create and confirm a recovery key. Select Configure. The on-premises data gateway is ready to use. If you face connection issues, see Troubleshoot gateways. -
In Power BI, select Workspaces > Create a workspace.
In the created workspace, select Settings > Manage gateways. -
In the On-premises data gateways tab, open Settings for the gateway.

In the Settings pane, select the following checkboxes:

Distribute requests across all active gateways in this cluster.

Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster.

Allow user's custom data connectors to refresh through this gateway cluster.

In the Data Sources tab, select New.

In the New data source dialog:

Select the Gateway cluster name from the list.

Enter a name for the data source in the Data source name field.

From the Data source type list, select SingleStore database.

Enter the database name in the Database field.

Select the authentication method (Basic).

For Basic Authentication,

In the Server field, enter the hostname or IP address of the SingleStore Helios workspace.

Enter the username and password used to connect to SingleStore in the Username and Password field, respectively.

Select Skip Test Connection to resolve any connection errors that may arise due to a failed connection test, and then select Add.
Note
SingleStore Helios users can only use Basic authentication.

The connection is now configured and ready to use.
