Connect with Sisense

You can connect Sisense to SingleStore Helios.
Sisense supports two types of data models: ElastiCube Model and Live Model.

When you use the ElastiCube Model, you import data from data sources, and then merge, manipulate, and query the data.
If the data in the data sources changes, you will need to refresh the data sources to see the changes. -
When you use the Live Model, you work directly with data sources.
You do not need to refresh the data sources if the data changes.
Prerequisites
Download and install Sisense.
Connect Sisense to SingleStore using ElastiCube Model

Open Sisense, and select the Data tab from the top menu.

Select +ElastiCube.
Specify a name for your new ElastiCube Model, and select Save. -
A screen appears that has a row labeled Data >> with the name of the ElastiCube Model you specified in the previous step.
Select the +Data button on the right. Then, select the SingleStore icon from the available connectors. -
A screen appears where you specify your SingleStore Helios connection details.
For the Location, specify the IP address or hostname of your workspace.
Then, specify the username and password used to connect to your workspace. Select Next.

Select the database that you want to use.
Then, select the tables or views in this database that you want to work with. Select Done.
Your SingleStore Helios workspace is now configured and can be accessed from Sisense using ElastiCube Model.
Connect Sisense to SingleStore using Live Model

Open Sisense, and select the Data tab from the top menu.

Select +Live.
Specify a name for your new Live Model, and select Save. -
A screen appears that has a row labeled Data >> with the name of the Live Model you specified in the previous step.
Select the +Data button on the right. Then, select the SingleStore icon from the available connectors. -
A screen appears where you specify your SingleStore Helios connection details.
For the Location, specify the IP address or hostname of your workspace.
Then, specify the username and password used to connect to your workspace. Select Next.

Select the database that you want to use.
Then, select the tables or views in this database that you want to work with. Select Done.
Your SingleStore Helios workspace has now been configured and can be accessed from Sisense using Live Model.
