What is the durability guaranteed by SingleStore?

SingleStore provides several options to control the trade-offs between performance and durability. In its most durable state, SingleStore will not lose any transactions that have been acknowledged.

Can I configure SingleStore to be fully durable?

Yes, you can configure the durability through the WITH {SYNC | ASYNC} DURABILITY option in the CREATE DATABASE and RESTORE DATABASE commands.

What isolation levels does SingleStore provide?

SingleStore provides the READ COMMITTED isolation level. This guarantees that no transaction will read any uncommitted data from another transaction. Furthermore, once a change is observed in one transaction, it will be visible to all transactions.

Unlike the REPEATABLE READ isolation level, READ COMMITTED isolation level does not guarantee that a row will remain the same for every read query in a given transaction. Applications that use SingleStore should take this into account.

Use the following steps to verify the authenticity of singlestoredb-server, singlestoredb-toolbox, singlestoredb-studio, and singlestore-client SingleStore files that have been downloaded.

You may perform the following steps on any computer that can run cosign, such as the main deployment host of the cluster.

(Optional) Run the following command to view the associated signature files.

Download the signature file from the SingleStore release server.
- Option 1: Click the Download Signature button next to the SingleStore file.
- Option 2: Copy and paste the following URL into the address bar of your browser and save the signature file.
- Option 3: Run the following command to download the signature file.

After the signature file has been downloaded, run the following command to verify the authenticity of the SingleStore file.
