Disaster Recovery


To protect against data loss, all data stored within SingleStore Managed Service is backed up daily and retained for seven days. This data is stored in persistent object storage should data restoration be required. Customers can determine frequency of backup and duration of backup retention, which may lead to additional storage costs.

S3 used by the service requires use of IAM keys (dedicated to the environment), and also utilizes endpoint access. The bucket policy is straightforward and allows explicit access to the dedicated key only.


Disaster recovery and business continuity scenarios and approaches are tested annually with external third-parties to ensure adequacy and efficacy.
