UNIX_TIMESTAMP

Returns the current Unix time as an integer, or converts the given date into unixtime.

Syntax

UNIX_TIMESTAMP ( dateobj )

Arguments

  • dateobj: a valid date, datetime, or parsable date string. Defaults to CURRENT_TIMESTAMP.

Return Type

Integer
