Important

The SingleStore 9.1 release candidate (RC) is available now. It will be promoted to general availability (GA) soon and at that time it will be renamed to SingleStore 10.

In the interim, SingleStore 9.1 RC can be used to preview, evaluate, and provide feedback on the new and upcoming features in SingleStore 10, while SingleStore 9.0 is recommended for production workloads.

TEST PIPELINE

The TEST PIPELINE command tests an existing pipeline and looks for any new files to import.

It does not return any output if all the data has already been loaded from the data source. When a pipeline is tested, data extraction and transformation occurs, but no output is inserted into the destination table.

When testing a pipeline, it must first be stopped. An error will occur if the pipeline is currently running.

Syntax

TEST PIPELINE pipeline_name [LIMIT count];

Remarks

Refer to the Permissions Matrix for the required permissions.

Example

You can limit the number of data source offsets to test by specifying a LIMIT clause, such as LIMIT 1.

Note: You must install cosign to verify the authenticity of the SingleStore file.

Use the following steps to verify the authenticity of singlestoredb-server, singlestoredb-toolbox, singlestoredb-studio, and singlestore-client SingleStore files that have been downloaded.

You may perform the following steps on any computer that can run cosign, such as the main deployment host of the cluster.

(Optional) Run the following command to view the associated signature files.

Download the signature file from the SingleStore release server.
- Option 1: Click the Download Signature button next to the SingleStore file.
- Option 2: Copy and paste the following URL into the address bar of your browser and save the signature file.
- Option 3: Run the following command to download the signature file.

After the signature file has been downloaded, run the following command to verify the authenticity of the SingleStore file.
