Extracts the specified number of characters from the right end of a string

Syntax

RIGHT(str, len)

Arguments

  • str: any string or binary object
  • len: the number of characters to be extracted

Return Type

String

SELECT RIGHT("1234567", 3);
+---------------------+
| RIGHT("1234567", 3) |
+---------------------+
